Questions families ask

Straight answers about home care in North Texas.

How much does in-home care cost in the Dallas–Fort Worth area?
Across the Dallas–Fort Worth market, non-medical home care generally runs roughly $21 to $29 an hour in 2026, depending on the level of care, the length of each visit and how many hours per week are scheduled. Longer shifts usually cost less per hour than short ones. Call us at (214) 791-3082 and we'll give you a straight answer on rates for your specific situation — no pressure and no obligation.
What is the difference between home care and home health?
Home care — what we provide — is non-medical help with daily life: bathing, dressing, meals, light housekeeping, companionship, transportation and supervision. Home health is skilled medical care ordered by a physician, such as nursing visits, wound care or physical therapy. Many families use both. We are licensed by Texas HHSC for personal assistance services, and if your loved one needs skilled nursing we'll say so plainly and help you find the right provider.
Does Medicare or Medicaid pay for in-home care in Texas?
Medicare generally does not pay for long-term non-medical personal care; it covers short, physician-ordered skilled home health after a qualifying event. Texas Medicaid programmes, Veterans benefits such as Aid and Attendance, and long-term care insurance policies can cover personal assistance services for people who qualify, and many families pay privately. Eligibility rules change and vary by programme, so verify your own coverage directly with the programme — and call us and we'll help you think it through.
How quickly can care start?
Often within a few days. We respond to every inquiry the same business day, schedule a free in-home consultation, and put a written service plan in place before the first visit. If your situation is urgent — a hospital discharge, for instance — tell us and we'll move as fast as we safely can.
Do you offer 24-hour, live-in or overnight care?
Yes. We schedule awake-overnight shifts and around-the-clock coverage using rotating caregivers so someone alert is always with your loved one. We'll talk through whether continuous coverage or a few well-placed visits each day actually fits the need — sometimes the smaller plan is the right one.
Which cities do you serve?
We're based in Little Elm and serve families across 19 North Texas counties, including Frisco, The Colony, Prosper, Celina, Aubrey, Oak Point, Denton, Lewisville, Flower Mound, Carrollton, Plano, McKinney, Allen, Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Irving, Garland, Richardson, Rockwall and Sherman. If you don't see your town, call anyway — we'll tell you honestly whether we can cover you.
